From August 23, the Covid certificate becomes mandatory for visits

From August 23, 2021, and according to the order issued by the Canton of Geneva on August 5, 2021, all visitors over 16 years of age to the Grand-Salève clinic must present an identity document as well as a Covid-19 certificate attesting either to a vaccination, a cure or a valid negative PCR or antigen test (less than a week) to be able to access a health establishment.

The operation of visits to our establishment remains the same, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., for a maximum of one hour per day and per visit.

Each patient* can only receive a maximum of two visitors per day, and each visitor must go to reception in order to register on the visit register, take a temperature measurement and, now, present a piece of medicine. identity as well as a valid Covid-19 certificate.

* We would like to remind you that for patients in double rooms, visits must be made outside the room (upstairs lounges or at the reception).

Psychiatry admission

For admission to psychiatry, an email from your attending physician must be sent to us along with your contact details (name, address, insurance, insured number and covered division), a history and a list of your treatments.

Insurance

The clinic has agreements with most of the major insurers, which can
thus guarantee your stay in private or semi-private, according to your contract.
In the event that your insurance covers only part of your
stay, the financial terms will be sent to you before your arrival.
A security deposit will be requested.

We also welcome patients who do not have Swiss insurance, each request being the subject of a quote.

Visits

Visiting times are set to allow the organization of your care and your rest: every day from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (except in the current health context, where these are authorized from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.).

We thank you for ensuring that these schedules are respected for the peace of our patients and the smooth running of the care. If you want to share a meal (lunch or dinner) with one of your relatives or friends, you just have to make a request the day before at reception.

Prepare your discharge

The day of discharge is decided in consultation with you and your doctor. All administrative and medical documents will be given to you by the nurse.

Hospital costs
The invoice will be sent directly to your insurance.

Personal expenses
Telephone calls, drinks in the room or at the bar or any other expense not covered by your insurance will have to be paid on site on the day of your outing.
