Specialty doctor in psychiatry

A specialist in general medicine, Dr Grimaldi has practised as a psychiatrist in leading university hospitals in England, notably Oxford and London, where he has also led research projects combining general medicine and mental health. He has been living in Switzerland for several years, working in leading psychiatric establishments and private clinics in Zurich, where he attends FMH training courses in psychiatry, and in Geneva and the canton of Bern.
His approach lies at the interface between somatic medicine and psychiatry, with expertise in addictology, eating disorders, psychosomatic pathologies, chronic pain, anxiety disorders and depression with somatic expression.
An advocate of a holistic approach to medicine and trained in cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational therapy and mindfulness, Dr Grimaldi uses techniques derived from integrative medicine to provide a modern, individualised and humane approach to psychiatry.
